Under her wings
Ruth created a home for many aspiring and accomplished dancers where we could grow and learn under her amazingly wide wings. She understood and encouraged my immature experiments in choreography. She shared her love of all aspects of dance - creative, intellectual, philosophical, ethical, historical and physics (yes, we dreaded that one). I admired and respected her and I was always slightly in awe of her. Thank you Ruth.
